I was going to do the same thing actually - which reminded me that
*this* was the reason I was working out how to interface a BBC keyboard
to a PC.

It's not something I'd normally do to a classic machine, but I've lost
track of how many standard BBCs people have told me about lurking in
skips and the like... I think I had a spare case at the time with a
knackered BBC board inside for some reason.

I think the main reason I wanted to do this was to have a "BBC" to hand
(albeit an emulator) with the look and feel of a beeb, but be able to
hook it up to a normal PC monitor (and not mess around with loads of
floppies either)
