Yes, that's right, there are a couple of links you can change on the BBC
B to support 8" drives
using the 8271 controller. I've got the discs, I just need a drive!

I've got a *vague* memory from about 10 years or so ago of noticing
there were some jumpers on the beeb motherboard for 8" drives
but I can't remember anything else!
