No, more like: "oh my motorbike won't start, and I don't know
what's wrong with it, and am not sure where to start, but I've
still got my moped, so I'll use that until the AA arrives".
 
Sorry, but I don't know enough about cars to get an approriate
analogy :)
 
I did the 8-bit layout last year and got a few PCBs made earlier
this year to play with while trying to get the 16-bit card
working. (My memory's starting to go a bit, there's this huge pit
labelled 'election'.)

Works with every drive (20+), every 8-bit PCB (6) and every BBC
Master (2) I've tried it on. I need to get a 16-bit card fixed so
I can try and duplicate Sprow's problems.
