Subject: Re: Master 128 keystrip and 5.25 floppy drives
Does anybody have a definitive answer of which keystrip or keystrips were
supplied with the BBC
Master?
I've looked at what I have and there is one with white writing on black background
which is
reversible, ie. "View" on one side and "Viewsheet" on the other. It has
the M. series logo on the
left hand side.
I also have some white-on-black keystrips which look like they might relate
to the Terminal
Emulator. One of them says "Dumb & BBC" and the other "ANSI".
Were these supplied with the Master and could there have been others?
Is anybody interested in a scan of the "Elite" keystrip? I recall the one
available on the Tinter
Net was almost illegible.
Best wishes,
Ian

Subject: [BBC-Micro] Master 128 keystrip and 5.25 floppy drives
Hi folks,
Does anyone have a decent scan of the keystrip that came with the Master
128? I've found a couple of nasty JPEG format scans, but nothing in a decent
resolution (200-300DPI) and in lossless format.
I'm also after a 5.25" floppy drive, preferably 40/80 switchable (although
I'd like to get a 40t-only drive as well), double-sided, must be Master 128
compatible. Basically, jumperable for 300RPM with Drive Select 0. Anyone got
a spare?
(I've seen a Shugart SA455 on ebay, but the shipping cost looked a bit steep)
Thanks.
