As I remember, the A3000 was the last ever "BBC Micro" so it is very fitting
to mention it on here!
Best wishes,

Subject: [BBC-Micro] Slightly off-topic ... How do I replace an A3000 CMOS
battery?
I've just acquired an old Arc A3000 and need to replace the CMOS backup
battery.

I think the battery is soldered in place, but which bit?
Is it the two dimples on top or does the whole 'button' plus the two
contacts come off?
Is it just a matter of melting the solder in the dimples for instance?
Do I need to solder in the new one?
