Sorry, bad snippage. Yes, the ashtry is normally just a ROM socket
on an extension lead. Master ROM cartridges modify the signals
normally present at the ROM sockets on the Master PCB.

I missing have /a total of/ four banks of sideways RAM :)

I'm running out of banks ;)
15-9: MOS+System ROMs
8 ANFS
7/6 GoMMC FS+GoMMC
4/5 Two banks of RAM
3/2 - unusable as link to GoMMC[1]
1 Spare
0 ADFS 1.53 (IDE)
Only one ROM socket and two banks of RAM left!
[1]I know I can have my GoMMC modified to remove the need for the
link, I just haven't got around to sending it in yet. Then I can
plug a 32K RAM into socket 3/2, giving me four continguous banks
back.
