Nothing there that quite covers it (no curser on screen). The screen in fact
goes quite bright when I switch on the Beeb and then darkens and sort of
"pulses". Nothing on it at all though.
I checked the keyboard connections - all clean and firmly seated.
I can't find any of the chips at all but then my eyesight isn't what it was.
I did make sure there were no odd objects (paper clips etc) in there and
that each chip was secure.
The only thing I can think of is that I left my cordless mouse on top of
the BBC Micro when I went out (and it stays on for about 15 mins after
switch off on my PC) so it has probably blown the whole thing. Not being
particularly "up" on electronics I suppose I shall consign it to the loft.
