This is one of the more comprehensive books the subject. Another one is
Graphics on the BBC Micro. Other books contain short introductory chapters
on the subject (e.g. in Mastering Assembly Code) and you could try articles
in magazines. If you can get hold of them, that is. I could scan in some
articles from Electron User if you want.
