How about a USB->Econet adapter :-)

There seems to be plenty of USB->Serial information and bits and pieces
around, so I was thinking it might not be to difficult to adapt one of these
designs for the 6854 and make an interface to an Econet, possibly
piggybacking one of the Master Econet adapter boards.
