Subject: TorchNET

whilst on the topic of Econet, does anyone know if TorchNET was software
compatible? It certainly was at the hardware level as the beeb was used
as the I/O processor. I've just never found out if they could
interoperate (I seem to recall there being a flag in an Econet packet to
say that it's vendor-unique rather than a standard packet, and I don't
know if Torch systems use that or just make use of standard Acorn
Econet...)
