The last one I used when I built a clock/hub (diagram at
http://members.aon.at/~musher/babel/hub.gif) a few years ago was the MC1441P
as per the Econet AUG.
Didn't have any problems sourcing it, and has been chugging away on and off
(so to speak) since.
Note: There was a slight adjustment made to the above design by adding 100
ohm resistors between LK1 & LK2 and LK3 & LK4. I seem to remember it being
because of the short distance of my Econet.
