I can't remember for sure, and all the modules I have left have the
collision detect so I can't simply go and look, but is it possible that
the version without the collision detect had a different part number?
 The timeline was that the very first ones had the circuitry, as far as
I recall, then it was decided that it wasn't necessary, and finally it
was realised that life was rather better if it were reinstated :-)
