At 739K I wasn't going to bother but I am glad I spent the c. 17
minutes downloading the pic to see what you meant.  I've not
seen a modification like this before.  It looks like the clock speed is
fixed at 115KHz.  Does it work?

someone posted picture of various clock boxes earlier.

Here's the inside of mine - it appears to be an issue 1 terminator, 
modified to be a clock by using an ubiquitous  555 !
