Heh, yes, that might be amusing.  I guess if you were going to do it,
something like the VIA Eden CPU would be the thing to use.  But, like
you say, it's hard to think what you would actually _do_ with it.

Another project I've wondered about occasionally would be building a
high-speed 6502 second processor based on an FPGA and one of the
synthesizable 6502 designs out there on the web.  I suppose one ought to
be able to run this kind of thing at 20MHz or so, which might be cute.
