Hmm, it's quite possible. Which reminds me, I do have a level 3 RTC
module (which plugs into the user port I assume) kicking around
somewhere.

I'll ask the chap I got the hard disk unit from who it was at Acorn who
originally owned it the system anyway...

Well I suppose if it was used for something 'core' at Acorn then it may
have had quite a few people accessing it at any one time. 

In theory I should be able to hook the Acorn SCSI controller up to the
SCSI board in my PC and take a raw image of the drive - and from there
pull the SYST password out (I'm assuming it's not encrypted on disk).
I've never tried talking to one of the Acorn SCSI interfaces before from
a modern machine though, but it should work...
