Ians post last of yesterday certainly seems the best method of getting SYST
priveleges on the FS unit, permanently as well as it is possible to set up a
new accout etc. and so would seem the best solution long term. Just do as he
suggests. Disconnect the Winchester first, and then create a new "floppy
based" L3 server user disc. Once that is created. Turn off, attach the
winnie, and boot using your disk 4, your floppy based system. Log on, and
then swap the Econet disk you want to access.

JGH probably has those utils on mdfs.net

Hmm, that sounds like exactly what I need in order to see the files on this
here L3 fileserver that I've obtained.

Presumably there's a FSList command too? Which begs the question, where do I
get such things from? (there's no such FSCat etc. on the ADFS part of the
fileserver's hard disk)

At least it'd allow me to see what data was on the drive - and presumably
find out an administrator password too...

cheers
