Very late reply again:

BAS128 was intended for the B+ 128K (and also usable on the master I
presume). I've got some background on how it came to be from the author
(Paul Fellows).

BASIC 3 as in the US version (1983 date), is in the archive as "USBASIC".
The file "BASIC3_=HIBASIC_alt2" I got from TBL where it's named HiBASIC3.rom.
I've not tried it I think, but I'll check it out.
This reminds me, besides my SWR identification program I also made a simple
CPU detection program long ago for 6502/65C02 (Rockwell)/65SC02 (GTE, fewer
instructions than Rockwell). It's rather trivial but if there's interest
I'll dig it out from my disks and put it on my webpages. I'd be interested
in the use of the rockwell/gte versions in 6502 2p's... I remember the Micro
user warned about the use of the extra instructions.
What I'd also be interested in is a list of games that use illegal opcodes.
Those who make emulators probably already have such a list?
