There is a ROM called ADI (Advanced Disk Investigator?) for the Beeb
(may require a 1770 controller or a Master) which I have used to make
backups of many kinds of wierd and wonderful disks. The software is
amazing and I wish that there was an equivalent for the more recent
operatng systems of all flavours, if the Beeb could handle DS/HD disks
I'd probably still be using it.

It will copy almost any SD or DD disk regardless of what format the disk
is or what flavour machine the disk originated from. The one major
exception was Amiga format disks.
