Subject: Re: To sell or not to sell ?
Hi Neil,
I know where you are coming from, I have only just started out with old
computers so that is not a problem. At least not yet, and want to make sure
it does not get out of hand.
Thats not the same with one of my other hobbies I started four years ago.
I
catalogued my collection a year ago, and realised how much I had spent and
amassed; I was shocked. I stopped buying new stuff earlier this year, and
feel so much better without all the ebay hassle and time looking for new
items.
Have decided to sell the majority of the stuff I bought, probably at a
loss. I would rather do that than keep the burden of just holding on to it
around me.
I think it would be best to pick out a few items from your collection you
would most like to hold on to. Keep a small collection of your best items
that would be easy to manage and store. Sell off bulky items, and rare
valuable stuff you hardly use. just focus on stuff you want to use regularl
y
and easy to store. If you have a number of different computer/console
systems, maybe just focus on two or three.
Regards,
Paul
