Personally I'd hang on to it if packing it away is possible (or maybe 
dispose of some of the bits you know you'll get hold of again easily in 
the future; stock BBC B's are going to be around for free for many years 
yet, for instance)

That's the often-missed bit. Highest bidder is simply person with 
deepest pockets, not person who's going to enjoy the collection the most 
or indeed care for it the best.

Save it from the evil of EBay and keep it! :)
