I've successfully resisted the whole "get rid of all this old rubbish"
thing, due in no small part to the kindness of a number of sellers who
have delayed sending parcels to me until the air has cleared a bit!

Of course, you know you are not necessarily winning when you open
the latest parcel to the non-plussed response, "Oh, not another Master
Compact..." to which I had to reply, "This is a FileStore E01S you know..."

Best wishes,

Ian

Me too, the majority of my old Beeb stuff i've had to get rid (due to
parental 'get this junk out of our garage' pressure!!) and felt much
better knowing people would appreciate it. most people were willing to
come and get - filled one chap's boot! other smaller stuff, i've let my
empolyer pay the postage for! seems apt to me. actually i still rue the
day i saw maybe 15 or 20 beebs stacked up in corridor - aka rubbish, and
didn't know what to do with them... sigh.
