Many thanks to Matt and for the other responses.

It's a sad sign of the times that I didn't even think to look in the
manual (which I have in pdf form) because I am now conditioned to
either not having a manual or not reading it because it's a waste of
time :-(

Oh for a return of the days when manuals were in paper form and
contained useful information!
