I think you need to hook on the two plastic bits coming from each end
of  the space bar one by one to the metal parts on the keyboard first
and then lift the space bar gently over the keyswitch in the middle to 
fix it back on.

Simpleton I am, I pulled all keys, including <space-bar> off my master to
clean board, but cannot
get <space-bar> back on properly?? Does anyone know how to put it back on
easily???
