Subject: Re: DFS -v- ADFS on a Master
I've just noticed that on the Master ET (which has no DFS) the SRAM
utility commands are built into the MOS and there is a new error
message of "Bad id" when you use one of the commands incorrectly,
which is slightly more helpful than the catch-all "Bad command" of
MOS 3.20!
Best wishes,
Ian

They're in the 1Mbit ROM, so you can't remove them anyway. ROMs 15-9 are all
in there.
Remember also that DFS includes the sideways RAM utils (SRLOAD etc), so even
if you don't use DFS you should leave it in.
You can remove them under software control
*UNPLUG <rom number>
you can find the rom number from
*ROMS
remembering to prefix the number with "&" as it's hex.

On a Master use
*CONFIGURE FILE <rom number>
pre the Master series the MOS just takes the first filing system it comes
across unless you're holding down a key at reset
D-BREAK selects DFS
A-BREAK selects ADFS
etc...
I'm guessing you're missing a Welcome guide?
