Of course, all being interested in computers of one sort or another and
probably well capable of writing programs in BASIC at the very least,
actually looking at the e-mail we are writing to see who we are actually
sending it to (it's only a few cms above where we type it) is totally beyond
us. We just hit "reply" and "send". (I'm as guilty as most of us of doing
this and nearly did it with this one).
I wonder what that tells us about ourselves?
One would think that we would be more likely to double-check everything than
most (remember the hours of searching through printouts for the missing ; or
"no such variable at line xxx" and similar or the one that just dumped the
program and you couldn't figure out why?).
