Agreed, that would look pretty cool! :)

I've not yet figured out what to have as the 'master' machine with a 
camera hooked up to it. It needs Econet, whatever it is, and a 
sufficient amount of CPU power to grab an image and split it into chunks 
for sending to each BBC. RiscPC's probably the sensible choice, although 
coding for the ARM is probably beyond me there! (I can handle physical 
hardware / construction, and doing some of the coding on the beeb side I 
reckon, but I'd be lost writing anything for an ARM-based Acorn)

ta - I probably will :) This one's been on the back-burner for a year or 
so now, awaiting some space to actually do it!

A 2x2 working prototype / proof of concept (without anything properly 
mounted) would be do-able in the short term though.

thanks, that's a good plan assuming they don't get claimed (looks like 
someone's interested in at least one of them! :)
