BBC Masters, Master Compacts, BBC Bs, Electrons with well over a
dozen 3.5" drives, all off-the-shelf, a mixture of sealed, brand
new, reconditioned, second hand and surplus, bought at various
times between 1988 and 2004.

I wasn't trying to. I was just relating my experience, as per the
phrase "In my experience".
