Subject: Re:: Master Shadow RAM access?

Richard

I'm looking at making a M/Code program (that saves screen memory to sideway
RAM) located underneath any BASIC program. The M/Code program would cater
for the possibility that the BASIC program is using SHADOW mode and the
BASIC program extends beyond &3000.

So when the BASIC program calls the M/Code program, I want the code to
save the screen memory to sideways RAM, but not lose the BASIC program.

I guess I am basically asking Is there a direct way of access the SHADOW
RAM without paging the RAM into Main Memory? I just cannot see a way. Considered
using unknown plot commands, but I think this does page the SHADOW RAM in
anyway??

  Cheers

  Pete

Job's a good'un :)

(obviously do this from a BASIC proggy, else screen corruption, etc.)
