I don't believe that Google has reindexed the site since before February 
2005. At that time the archive was altered to sort messages by posting 
time in GMT to resolve issues where some messages were appearing out of 
chronological order when posters were in different time zones.

I'd really like Google to reindex the site to correct the problem but 
cannot really prompt them to do so.

There is a newer version of the archive in development which will 
include a local search solution but my PHP/MySQL skills are not quite up 
   to implememnting the full functionality required yet.

Hope this resolves some issues.
