No, because they are system messages indicating that there is
something wrong with the system that the system cannot cope with,
such as a disk error.

Configure the error messages to go to the serial port and connect
it to another computer and capture them there.
 
I've been meaning to do this myself as my printing light came on
the other week, and would only go off if I rebooted.
