LOGO is a graphics programming language; I haven't touched it since 
primary school, but I recall it had a triangular cursor which started in 
the centre of the screen called the "turtle", and you gave it commands 
along the lines of move forward, move backwards, pen up, pen down, pen 
colour x, etc, and with combinations of these and various repetition 
loops you could make some pretty impressive moiré patterns, etc.

No doubt someone on the list will point you to the documentation before 
long.
