Subject: Re: Happy New Year for 2006

I've just been into some of my files boxes, (yes - real paper), and
discovered a screed entitled "BBC Microcomputer System, technical
Specification - Issue 3 September 1981". It uses words such as "will", and
"shall", leading me to the conclusion that they hadn't actually delivered
any....

A catalogue document from BBC has an address in Kettering, but only says
"cheques to BBC Microcomputer System", and says 'order form number 1',
dated1st Feb 1982. I also contains the fatal phrase "Actual Delivery
dependent on demand"

Somewhere amongst the storage I've got 'The Provisional User Manual', (red
cover), but a lot of digging has failed to find which box..

If it's of interest, I've got quite a bit of old advert/info stuff, which I
could scan, if somebody wants to host it.

Mike
