In my opinion, the emulator with the most accurate sound emulation (for the
PC) is Tom Seddon's Model B.  Neither BeebEm 3 or B-Em seem to have the
periodic noise tuned correctly (e.g. the Icarus theme tune sounds terrible
on both of these).  BeebEm also seems to emulate the volume scale linearly
rather than exponentially, which means that notes sometimes appear not to
drop off quickly enough.
