I don't know what spool-chukkers is, but "defiantly" comes from two
typing mistakes: a and n are switched and an e is left out. Letter
switching is common and it happens to me too with some words for some
reason.
In Zalaga, note the spelling of Acornsoft as Acronsfot. When I first
played this game (1995) this seemed strange, now it seems it might be a
comment on someones letter-switching (of the Author perhaps, or someone
in Acornsoft).
