Got that one, and wholly agree with your comments. Some of the board ideas
were a bit wierd too!

The thing I'm after is mentioned in 'Acorn Appnote 003 - 1MHz Bus'

In the index it mentions: ' Drg. No. 107,000,  Circuit diagram for BBC
machine expansion box backplane'

Perhaps it's to do with the 'cheese wedge'  box, but I haven't seen one of
those with any kind of what I would call a backplane.

I've got the Control Universal backplane bus details, along with the drawing
for their BeebEx card, (lucky Jules has the card!), so I guess I might go
with that. It's a better bus than the book, though still 64 way.
