Subject: Pop goes the PSU

Just to be absolutely clear about this...

When a BBC B power supply goes pop, giving out the usual clouds
of smoke etc., is it still safe to use afterwards?

I am using a spare one at the moment for the auxilary power output
but it popped on me last night although it still appears to be working.
