I use an Antex XS to make the coprocessors, some flux, 0.7mm diameter
solder, and a 1mm tip. You don't want to solder each pin at a time, you want
to apply the flux and run a mini wave of solder from one end to the other.

With time you learn how much solder is needed so you don't end up with loads
of bridges and spending ages taking the excess off with wick.

Lastly, a quick whizz over with the Steinel hot air gun (goes up to 600degC)
gives nice shape solder fillets,
