I was just saying to someone the other day that I bought mine (with Cub
screen, dual-floppy plinth, docs etc.) back in the early 90's for 50 pounds.
I think it's the only Acorn machine of reasonably large production that I've
never seen another one of, actually [1] (but I make a point of not looking on
EBay for things as it's just scary)
[1] Although I did pick up a Watford copro box with the 80186 copro fitted a
year or so ago.
In a private sale (going by prices of other Acorn things I've seen changing
hands) I'd probably expect *still* about 50 pounds for machine, docs, display
and a pair of drives. EBay prices where the seller's clearer on what they
have, probably four times that...
So yep, you missed something of a bargain I think :-(
cheers
