It does on the Master Compact and on MOS 3.50
Horrible horrible horrible!!!!
The first time I tested HADFS on a Master Compact it loaded itself
into sideways RAM nicely, then performed a power-Reset to
reinititialise the machine - and HADFS had vanished 'cos the SRAM
had been cleared.
Grrrrrrr.

*SRWRITE 0+9 8000 4
*SRWRITE 0+9 8000 5
*SRWRITE 0+9 8000 6
*SRWRITE 0+9 8000 7
will overwrite enough of the ROM header to make the contents
invalid. I use +9 just because it's quicker to type. (Unless
&0000-&000A *just happen* to have a valid ROM header in them.)
