Subject: Re: 1MHZ SCSI/ATA board

I have always used 27256 devices as a substitute for 2764s and
27128s which are difficult to get hold of. My EPROM programmer
(Morley v.2) will programme them correctly for a 16K ROM image
using either 27128 mode or 27256 HI mode.

Best wishes,

Ian

Yep, 8k x 8...

Bugger - I've got millions of the things, but I'm out in the US again for a
while and so they're 4000 miles away right now!

It's 27128's I can never find when I need them - I seem to have just about
everything else (although my programmer won't handle anything larger than
1Mbit and is too new to cope with the old three-rail devices)

cheers

J.
