Looks more like you caught the "dutch collector's desease"...

It's a very nice bit of kit to experiment with. Butchered, give me a
break. 6502 2ps aren't rare enough to care about a switch fitted to the
case. All else can be undone.
As to price, read the page, does it say "untested" or "looks to be
working"? No. These unnuanced views about prices for old stuff are
tedious...
Why do people complain about prices on ebay but not for similar kit sold
by say Robert Sprowson, JGH, Chris Richardson. Well, Chris stopped
selling a while back, his prices were in fact a lot higher than anywhere
else including ebay, and you know what? considering the time one has to
spend to check hardware, that was entirely reasonable for fully
tested/supported stuff. People who want to use old 8 bit stuff without
hassles, and not have to worry about fixing hardware problems, will
appreciate this. People who don't care about this, won't want to buy
tested, they'll take the chance and fix problems themselves (or ask on
this list...). Also, not everyone has the ability to fix hardware.
In other words: Don't check into a 5 star hotel, then start complaining
about the prices because the 1 star hotel you know is so much cheaper.
Alternatives: Any other websites but ebay don't work for me to sell BBC
stuff I no longer need/want, no matter what price. With buying I had a
little more success elsewhere in NL, but it meant having to buy whole
collections and you will not find uncommon software or hardware there,
(maybe if you put up the same wanted ad for a decade you'll get lucky
;-) ). Same goes for buying other old nostalgic stuff I've tried to
find. Usenet: Also useless unless you want to sell your stuff for near
nothing or give it away.
