Yeah - I considered FreeDOS plus an open source emulator of some kind  
for full GPL loveliness. I still think it's a fun idea but I don't  
really have time just now to do anything about it.

The NC just mandates things that have to be taught - it doesn't stop  
you teaching anything else in addition.
