Looks good  - wouldn't it be better though for the Acorn/BBC identity
if it eventually looked like the RISC OS desktop?  The Contiki just
looks a bit... Windowsy.  You know, as soon as I have more time on my
hands, I'd quite like to try and make a BBC GUI that's not too reliant
on the OS but a complete re-write, using either the Sprow or GoMMC
hardware support, to work as much as possible like the latest RISC OS. 
Something to build on the Contiki... you have the C skills, could you
perhaps spare some effort in the future for a possible joint venture?

Is C programming more effective at compiling to 6502 than BASIC?  There
are tools out there that compile BASIC like Accelerator...
