Subject to having a compatible FDC :-( And of the machines that will read FM
data, many of them are missing the ability to write it.
I still want to patch the Linux kernel so that the floppy driver can be told
to better cope with error conditions - but I'm stuck here in the US with a
laptop that has no floppy drive, so I can't do any testing of any FDC-related
stuff right now. (I do have the source code to Imagedisk handy, so I'm looking
at how Dave does his analysis and recovery there with a view to incorporating
some of the tricks into the Linux driver)
cheers
