FWIW, I've got Pace's "reference" E01 filestore back at home, and that's grey 
rather than cream. Pace had one of every Acorn product in storage (and 
unfortunately binned most of it at close-down) as part of a reference 
collection, and the fact that the filestore's grey suggests that Pace at least 
thought they all should be grey :-)
