I agree, it's definitely "Artillery Duel"
It was one of my favourites back in 1985 at university to play against my m
ates after we got back from the pub :)
This was in New Zealand and I definitely wouldn't have bought it (as a poor
 uni student!) so I'm picking it must have come with a magazine. We only ev
er got Acorn User and The Micro User so it was probably one of those.
