The problem is the connector - I guess the PC motherboard twiddles some of
the pins. The correct config is in the BBC manual.

I have quite a lot of BBc printer leads, ex-schools. If you (and any other 5
o6 users who want one) send me an address, I'll post one to you, though I'll
