254 stations (1-254), 254 networks (1-245). Network 0 is "this
network". On reception, station 0 is "any". On transmission,
station or network 255 is broadcast.
AUN reserves networks 128-254 for Ethernet. My incomplete
SerialNet reserves 112-127 (&70-&7F) for serial.
