Yep, that's what most people seemed to do. The manual says that there a couple
of links that can be made which bypasses the regulators, but for some reason a
lot of the Atoms I've seen have had the regulators (and heatsink) completely
removed.

I've got one with the FP ROM and a BBC BASIC card in it, all the others I've
seen have been pretty stock (although with different memory configs,
with/without the System bus etc.).
I've never seen one with the colour board, though. I'm half-tempted to build
one if I can find all the bits.
