Subject: Re: Any future for a Beeb

Hi all

Thanks to eveyone who replied to my post - what a helpful crowd you are!

First a few more details.

Saladhin, I'm not looking to sell the stuff - it's 25 years old and has
spent the last 10 years in the loft, so it's not in pristine condition by
any means.

Rob, My son reckons the keyboard problem is to do with the cable as you
suggest. Paul, The <Break> key works and if you press <Tab> you get what
appear to be random characters displayed. Other keys do not appear to have
any effect.

Rob, I'm not sure whether or not we have Econet installed, we may have the
manual because Mark did a lot of work on the Econet at his school. I've
emailed him but won't get a reply until later - he's in San Francisco.

I forgot to say we also have a lot of magazines - Beebug, Acorn User and BB
Micro User.

Finally - location. We are near Hatfield in Herts, so not too good, Dom and
Rob. Dave, we are just off the A1, so under an hour from you.

Again, thanks for all the interest

Regards

Pauline
